Taken from the M23 (23rd Street crosstown bus) while it was taking on passengers at 23rd Street and 1st Avenue. The brick building on the right is part of the Midtown Plaza housing complex.
This statuette rests above the door of the Empire Diner on the northeast corner of 10th Avenue at 22nd Street. The food reviews are iffy but the theme and statuette get top marks. You can read and excerpted review here.
Winter has not yet officially started, but is has officially started showing up in photographs as dark skies and low light. Still, she's a beauty - looks great in any light and any season.
From Washington Square, which you may be able to make out on the Street sign. Great light tonight - it did wonders for architecture.
One of the things I love most about living in NYC is the constant reminders that I'm here. Is this the way Parisiens feel every time they catch a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower?
Taken from around 6th Avenue and 27th or so. Big ups to Christopher for pointing her out while I was scouring the sidewalk for found money. Look closely for the red light at the tippy top of the tower. It just barely came out.
There's a building going up on 23rd Street that I know some people are excited about. I hate it for obvious reasons. I'll never set foot in it. Maybe I'll even take up graffiti when it's done.
